What to Expect.
Referral and Rebates.
Prior to your initial consultation, it is recommended that you consult
with your GP who can provide you with a Mental Health Care Plan. The MHCP entitles you to receive a Medicare rebate for 10 treatment sessions per calendar year.
Medicare rebates are available for face-to-face appointments and Telehealth appointments. You may also be entitled to additional rebates through your Private Health Fund.
Private consultations are available without a GP referral. Private consultations are not eligible for Medicare rebates.
Initial Consultation
During your initial consultation, Emma will work with you to articulate and understand the obstacles or barriers that may be preventing you from living the life you want to be living. Emma will work alongside you to define your treatment goals and create a clear treatment plan that ensures you feel safe and supported in your journey.
Sessions are 50-minutes in duration. The frequency of sessions will be determined during this initial consultation and based on your individual treatment goals.
